Bespoke jewelry begins with something individual. A personal symbol. A favorite color. A form imagined anew.
For four generations, our family has designed and made jewelry in Chicago. Every bespoke piece is made in our own workshop. You bring the idea, and we turn it into something you can wear.

Some ideas arrive as an animal, a flower, or a creature that only exists in the mind of the person describing it. These pieces give that kind of idea a body in gold, diamonds and color.

A brooch, reimagined
When a client wanted to reimagine a beloved bird brooch, we created a custom gold and diamond birdcage. The brooch can be worn on its own or within the cage.
Bespoke craftsmanship gives treasured jewelry new life.
Four generations
Made in this house
Lester Lampert has designed and made jewelry in Chicago since 1920. David Lampert, a Graduate Gemologist, is the fourth generation of the family and is named for his great-grandfather, who founded the business. Bespoke pieces are made in our own workshop by our master jewelers.
In 1979 the City of Chicago commissioned us to design its official gift to Pope John Paul II. In 2009 the Field Museum chose us as featured designer for its renovated Grainger Hall of Gems, where we created 27 of the 36 custom pieces.
